Fall is here; I’m cool with it because I have kit to test! 15C, 50% humidity, sounds kinda warm for an Alpha Direct-insulated jacket? It would have been too warm with the Unlimited Puffy, since the shell fabric needed a lot of wind to clear vap
Despite the challenges of 35C heat, the good times continue to roll.
My Jack-the-Bike-Rack handles camping loads better with my custom quick-release titanium strut system, which I built for my camping bike. Adapting to my fatbike required a new mount, since the fork doesn’t have mounting points. Testing was with
@kogel_bearings have been using @cerakote for custom finishes for a while, and @ard_kogel was tired of wasting time shaking bottles. Could I design a custom solution to fit a commercial massage gun? Hell yeah, shake and bake! #3dprintinglife #3dprint

It’s nice to look forward to terrible weather so I can experience what the new AirCore pieces can do. You’re going to have to feel these fabrics to grasp how different they are from what we’re used to. It’s a pleasure and an h
Enlightened and inspired by the @globalcyclingnetwork ‘Secret Gravel Stelvio’ video by @dr_oliverb we tackled the route from Bormio after taking in a figure-8 loop of the reservoirs at the foot of the ‘road’s’ start. Giv

New distance PR, and a heck of a route! Lots of work went into my 3D printed enhancements, and I was really happy with the result. Total carb consumption over the day was about 1,200g, another PR, and did it ever work: I felt fine at the end! So stok
Proper big day on the trails. Traction was good, maybe too good: I pushed so hard up a steep climb we almost never make and torqued my whacky SI joint (lower back) hard. Oof…. Good news is it only really locks up when I’m off the bike 😂
Cold feet = bad sleep. If you want to go ultralight on wheels or feet, out your insulation where you need it most. Link in bio. @turbat.ua @bestcoast_outfitters @julbocanada @t_lab_bikes @jackthebikerack @reneherse #ultralightdown #bikepacking #back
@graceyhemstreet with @norcoracedivision @norcobicycles first Canadian woman to win a DH World Cup in history!!! MEGA
A sweep through a variety of tools and tool-related things I’ve printed from open-source models and a couple I designed myself. I can only imagine what I’ll be able to do 5 years from now, as materials suitable for home printing continue
